Metal prints represent a new art medium, with stunning results, by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. This new technique bonds the image into the surface metal, providing image preservation and durability. So you will never have to worry about losing your prints to water damage again! Metal Prints are available in 4 different surfaces: Solid Glossy, Clear Glossy, Solid Matte and Clear Matte.  

Solid Glossy

This surface provides exceptional detail and vibrant colors. Most frequently requested surface due to its brilliance and resolution. No grain of the aluminum is evident. The white under base and high gloss finish assures that colors will be vibrant.


Clear Glossy

This surface provides a luminescent appearance that is truly unique. The clear surface allows the grain of the aluminum to show through the image. The clear surface works well with Black & White, Sepia, and images that you want to create an edgy appearance. Whites will appear silver and metallic with this finish.


Solid Matte

The solid matte finish is a less reflective finish. The detail and color are slightly muted with the matte compared to the solid glossy finish. Matte is a good choice for images when you might be concerned about glare or too much reflection. The white surface offers crisp bright whites and excellent color reproduction. Customers like the matte finish for portraits and wedding images.

Clear Matte

This clear matte finish has all the properties of our clear glossy finish, silver base (aluminum color), with the difference being a less reflective matte finish. Matte is a good choice for images when you might be concerned about glare or too much reflection. The clear surface creates a metallic look to your image. Customers like the matte finish for portraits and weddings.

Notes

We use the highest grade brushed metal. All metal prints come with rounded corners at no additional cost.
Like any fine art piece, metal prints should not be displayed in direct sunlight.
